Is the site accessible via wheelchair?
The paths and main entry ways are wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair access via a side ramp to the church building (please ask a member of staff for assistance). Wheelchair toilet facilities are only available during Pink Clover opening hours. If you require any additional assistance planning your visit please contact us.

What is the weather like in Sligo?
The weather in Sligo can be very unpredictable so we suggest packing for all weathers. Drumcliffe is situated on the Wild Atlantic coast and gets frequent rain showers even in summer. We call it liquid sunshine

Is there car parking?
There is ample car parking available within a short walk of the site. These are public car parks and operate free of charge.

Is there coach parking?
Coach parking is available in the large public parking area only. The smaller carpark to the west of the site (near the round tower) is for cars and delivery vehicles only (for safety reasons). The large parking area can accommodate up to 8 coaches.

Can I take my dog with me?
Yes. Dog’s on leads are very welcome to visit the churchyard. Please clean up after your pets.

What are the opening times?
The Churchyard is open 24/7 365 days per year. The church building is open seasonally (March-October) from 9am to 6pm unless otherwise advertised. The information kiosk is staffed daily during the opening hours and are on hand for any enquiries, sales and bookings.

How do I get to Drumcliffe?
By Car take the N15 (Sligo-Donegal Road) north from Sligo town and turn right after the village of Rathcormac. The Sligo-Derry/Derry to Sligo bus has a stop a short walk from Drumcliffe check our Bus Eireann for further details. You can also take a taxi from Sligo Town which is about 15 minute drive.
